The SCNM Library is very excited to announce a 60-day trial for the following four Databases provided by EBSCO. You can click on the links to search in each one separately. Additionally, these databases are now incorporated into the SCNM Library's iSearch search-engine. Please try them out and let us know what you think.

Research tool for nursing and allied health professionals with fast and easy full-text access to top journals, evidence-based care sheets, quick lessons and more. 

 

Cochrane Collection Plus

Essential source of high-quality healthcare data for providers and patients, as well as for researching, teaching, funding and administration at all levels of the medical profession.

 

DynaMed

Clinician-focused tool designed to facilitate efficient and evidence-based patient care.

 

Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition

Full-text database covering nursing and allied health topics, including pediatric nursing, critical care, mental health, nursing management, medical law, and more.

 

 

 

New Databases

The SCNM Library is very excited to announce the addition of two new Journals Databases. You can click on the links to search in each one separately. Additionally, these databases are now incorporated into the SCNM Library's iSearch search-engine.

Health Business Elite

This database provides comprehensive journal content detailing all aspects of healthcare administration and other non-clinical aspects of healthcare institution management. Updated daily, it is an indispensable resource for both healthcare professionals and researchers. It has more than 600 full-text journals, healthcare company profiles, and a rich collection of images, including photographs, illustrations, charts, diagrams, maps and graphs. Additionally, there are journals representing computer technology, facilities management, hospital administration, and hospital management.

 

Business Source Complete

With premium full-text content and peer-reviewed business journals, this database is an essential tool for business students. It covers all disciplines of business, including marketing, management, accounting, banking, finance and more. There are more than 2,000 active full-text journals and magazines, with more than 1,200 active, full-text, peer-reviewed journals, 760 active, full-text, peer-reviewed journals with no embargo, and 830 active full-text journals indexed in Web of Science or Scopus.

 

 

 

Final Exams have been postponed, and when administered will be Online. Please watch for SCNM announcements regarding exams, and check with your instructors regarding exam times, procedures, etc.

 

Meanwhile, you will be required to download and install a software program called Respondus LockDown Browser. Information regarding this software, with a link to download it, is provided by SCNM’s I.T. Department on a new MySCNM page.
